Breast Cancer Awareness Month Campaign 2019

We are so excited to announce our “Go Pink” Breast Cancer Awareness Month Campaign was a huge success! Our Mr. Wilson Heating and Air technicians were well received by many of our customers and the “Pink” surprise when they opened the door.

To embrace the month for breast cancer awareness our technicians wore pink t-shirts and pink booties. On the back of our t-shirts, we listed the names of those customers, family members or friends that had been affected by this cancer. It was amazing to see a huge smile on our customers face when they opened the door. Moreover, they could not wait to hear more about it.

Our technicians were up for a challenge so Mr. Wilson Heating & Air donated $1.00 toward the Susan G. Komen foundation for every photo the technician would take with our customer. They had a lot of fun with it and proud to raise $100 to donate toward this noble cause.

In addition, we “paid it forward” because the shoe cover company, ShuBee also donated a $1.00 to their local cancer foundation for every photo Mr. Wilson Air posted on Facebook with the tag #coveredforthecause. What started as a small idea sparked into something bigger!

This campaign was a team effort, office staff included. The photos taken were posted on our Wall of Smiles for all to see. Often times our staff speaks to our customers on the phone but rarely gets to meet them. Therefore, this was such a fun experience to connect a name with a smiling face.

This campaign energized our team and provided kindness with a smile from those who participated. Our customers were so touched by having their names on our shirts. Moreover, they appreciated our support to fight the fight. Several customers have requested to be on the shirts next year and we can’t wait until October comes around again!
